Prashant Rawat also known as  ” Snow leopard“ , born and rooted in Sankari,  Uttarakhand into a winter sports family, and blessed with dependability, resilience and preciseness.

I am Professional Climber from Nehru Institute of Mountaineering, Uttarkashi, Uttarakhand. Best known for my ability to capture extraordinary imagery and stories while climbing and skiing in extremely high-risk environments and leading expeditions.  Started my career in 2008 as a Professional Climber, Ski Instructor and Team leader for countless climbing and skiing expedition from the past decade in India.  Been traversing western Himalayas, Uttarakhand since 2008, leading trips to some of the most remote areas of the peaks. Skilfully completing various expeditions up to 6000 Meters of heights and Ski down in the arduous regions of India including Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh. Accredited for leading the State Government’s Snow Skiing Training Programme in Mar.2019.

Belief: Influenced by the mountains that towered around me, that stimulated my vision as a climber and snow skier. I started with downhill skiing and moved to ski cross and eventually to freeride, only to find my calling in carving lines in the mountains. The alpine breeze of the Himalayas rejuvenates my soul. Presently I see myself  as a seasoned mountaineer who revels in every opportunity to make Mountain Expeditions, climbing, trekking or skiing with conservation and sustainability.
